The site will be accessed from Alexandra Parade via the existing access which is shared with Ashgrove care home, as per planning application 08/01422/DET. The access is considered suitable to accommodate additional traffic created by the development of four new dwelling houses.
The non-adopted road will be surfaced with asphalt and has been designed in accordance with
established road design guidelines. The driveways and parking areas of each plot will be surfaced using gravel.
The site in question is located generally to the west and north of the existing care home.
